- Pages – Options
- Visible (pages have buttons in navigation) versus Hidden Pages (pages
don’t have buttons in the navigation) tabs.
- To move a page from one tab to the other, just click (or unclick) the
Hide Page column, then hit Save and it will be relocated.
- You can have unlimited pages in the Hidden tab. We advise you to move inactive
pages there, versus deleting them.
- Pages Without Buttons –pages that are not being actively used on
your site but are available to you or pages that are actively used on
your site but are not in the navigation such as pages that are linked from other
pages on your site or pages that you want to be private and don’t
want others to see.
- Add New Page – Allows you to create new pages. To layout the page yourself,
choose Free Form, all other pages types are called wizards as they are
step by step, fill in the blank ways to build pre-formatted pages
easily.
- Save – need to click anytime you change the Page Rank/Order or
Names
- Page Name – Change by double-clicking on the name and then once
you have typed the name, click the Save button.
- Page Type – Visually tells you (and our support team to help you
quicker) how each page was built as there are many easy ways to build a
page in CoolSites.

- List Pages – Options
- Page Rank/Order – Can change by Drag & Drop, when done, click
the Save button.
- Roll Over/DHTML Buttons (+/- sign indicates nested pages), to make a
page a child, drag it on top of the parent, it will temporarily turn
pink and then indent it as a nested child or roll over button. Once done, click the Save button.
- Security – Make any page Password Protected or Registration

- Pencil – Click to enter and Edit each page
- Hide Page – Move pages to or from the Visible and Hidden Pages
tabs
- Hide Layout - Apply/remove
the site design (header, background, buttons, etc.) to any page of your
site. In rare cases like
posting a Flyer it can be advantageous to turn off the layout.
- Home Page – check the box for the 1 page you want to Designate to
be the Home Page (loads www.yoursite.com)
- Meta Tags – manage keywords on every individual page of your
site. This differs from the
Meta Tags button in CoolSites main navigation left panel which is how
you edit the keywords on all pages of your site at once (note: if you
edit the keywords on an individual page it deletes or overrides the
site-wide Meta Tag settings.
- Header/Footer – place content at the top or bottom of preformatted
page
- Delete – Removes the Page forever

- Every Page of your site defaults to Public which means anyone can access
that page, but if you click on either the Public or Set links you can
make any page either Password Protected or Registration Based
|

- You can edit the content of any page of your site simply by clicking on
the page name. There are 4
kinds of page edit screens, Free Form, Wizard Driven, My Form & MLS
Related. Each page type is
described separately in the following pages.
